Nearly 2 weeks have gone by since pure Lettings director Lee Bilbrough completed the Pier-2-Pier by Panto Pony challenge. A grueling couple of days in the saddle battling the traffic hills and heat leaving Blackpool at 10am on Saturday morning to arrive at Manorlands at 5pm. After good night’s sleep it was an early start for the “big” day leaving Manorlands Hospice at 6am heading for Scarborough. A fantastic team of outriders and support crew kept us safe and well fueled all the way and we finally completed the 160 mile ride arriving on Scarborough’s South Bay at 5.30pm. We have been blown away by the support given before, during and after our weekend and are now over 90% towards our ambitious target of £10,000 – something that now seems in touching distance.
