November has seen the team at Pure Lettings attend two information packed conferences . ARLA Propertymark had their annual conference in Manchester and Payrop hosted their first live connect event at the Chartered Accountants Hall in London. Both days offered an array of speakers and presentations from leading Industry experts and covered topics on Tax for landlords, a legal update on the Rent Reform white paper and National Trading Standards provided details on the latest regulatory developments affecting the lettings industry. The star attraction however was Paul Shamplina of Landlord Action and Nightmare Tenants – Slum landlords who shared some fantastic and entertaining insights in dealing with difficult tenant situations.
